I read the books and did to some degree feel the movie was a tad disappointing...the beginning was so rushed and in the book it was awesome, Dobby the houseelf and Hermione's SPEW campaign were nowhere to be found, and so many details were just cut out...::snip:: ANYWHO at the same time, I enjoyed the movie for what it was and I particularly liked how Voldemort was. The editing was so bad that it made me want to cry. As for the KKK washing machine thing, I made the EXACT same connection in my head while watching.
