Welcome to the Bloon v.2

Hello all our dedicated and not-so-dedicated viewers…  And welcome, to our brand spanking new layout!  And not only that, we have revamped our system so you should notice alot of changes throughout the website such as a new AJAX based comment system, favatar and gravatar support, and some other less noticable changes.  Anyways, this may become a famous day sometime, when the bloons finally upgraded their site.  I know, its been a long time with the last, less-good layout…  So check it out, and let us know what you think.  IBloon out.

Lord of War

And now, after a few interesting, quality posts, it’s back to our scheduled programming–movie reviews. Hope you enjoyed it while it lasted. Suckas.

Title: Lord of War
Genre (Movie): Action/Political Thriller
Description: A story of a gun-runner, the bad guy you’ll hate to love. Or is that love to hate? It’s an iffy on this movie.
Quickrating: 8.5/10

Nicholas Cage movies tend to be good rentals. Let’s admit it–the man has starred in some pretty bad movies. Every once in a while, he hits on a good one, but the majority? Eh. Or worse than “eh”. Fortunately for us, this movie is one of the minorities.

Lord of War is the tale of a weapons smuggler, or gun-runner, starting from his beginnings and ending….well, I can’t tell you. But ending well enough. It has a few other familiar faces in it, but I can’t really put names to them even when I squint and concentrate really, really hard. (Not that that works in any other case, either, but it looks funny and makes me laugh) It has action, it has thinking, and it has morals. All you could ever want from a movie. Not to mention a few one-liners and a quite clever little plotline. An overall well-put together and well-done film. Here’s why.
