Ok so at my school, since we are like supposed to be ULTRA smart, they assign us to do sonnets for HW… I was like HOLY CRAP at first… but after the initial suprise (more like a heart attack than anything), I decided to try my hardest (= about 100000 x less than what you call lazy). So here are my results… Plz comment!
Sonnet 1: Canadian Eh?
Aunt Jude arrives to celebrate our fete
A two four balanced in each mighty hand
Her tuke, askew, sits perched upon her tete,
She brought her cds of her favorite band
She’s also brought her hockey stick along
To play the nash’nal sport of our country
She sings O’Canada, the nash’nal song
And plops the flag proudly under our tree
She pops the top right off a can o’beer
And plunks herself in front of our TV
She wags her finger, “Come right over here!
And listen to the tunes of Great Big Sea.”
We dance and jig and sing and play the spoons,
We all sound like a crazy bunch O’ loons.
